Nah he's definitely top 10 doing it right now. That Whoo Kid mixtape he dropped recently >>>>>>>> *

And he uses it very well. Is very unique and distinctive with that deep voice, slow flow. + at least I know I can trust him not to ever release any gay corny pop music shit. Most rappers in the UK would sell their own mother to get a #1 in the charts, but Giggs always stays real, and I respect that.

^ true. Even on more commercial tracks he done like Slow Songs with The Streets, or Don't Go There with B.o.B, he is talking about the same stuff, and attacking the track in the same way and you could put his accapella on some of his old mixtape beats and it wouldnt' sound out of place.

and this...

Yeah in seriousness people who talk and rap like that are all that is wrong with UK hip hop

Nah fuck that, there was a shitload of US Hip-Hop lingo normal people must thought it was stupid

Dawg, Scrilla, Chedda, Yo Homie etc....the only difference is these words got embraced more by society because good hip-hop songs were made by this. It's part of the culture. So you'se breddas better know, yeah?

....as for the main topic, "cunt" is the only word that has a shock value in the U.K. anymore

Its not a bad word but i say 'div', actually is that even just a UK thing?

That's unfair man.

Having been at University 2 years, you get people from Bulgaria to Rochdale, so much variety in where people are from. When i started, and i had a scouse housemate, i was like 'What the fuck is he on about? What a douche..' Then when i was speaking to him back, he was asking what i was on about and what certain slang i was using even meant. I'm from the North Midlands, so i'm Northern, but not that strong.. And these people were joking like 'You sound a bit like a farmer..' LOL

Every place has its slang, it's how people are brought up. Fine, you may hear someone say 'Blud' and think 'how stupid does he sound..' but i bet there's another person from London ripping in to your accent.

So even though i don't listen to much Hip Hop from the south, or UK Hip Hop at that to be honest, I've learnt not to diss accents..
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Biggie Smalls
Royce Da 5'9"
