Love her.

One of the only few female artists who can compare or even make it in the golden era of R&B, jazz, hip hop mixed music.

The influence of hip hop is huge in her music and it's evident to see. I've seen her live, and she's a HUGE fan old school hip hop fan, she spoke about her love of Rakim, NWA (in particular Dre), KRS, Q-Tip etc. She also mentioned she was a HUGE fan of the likes of Eminem, 50, Lupe in terms of newer artists.

I love the new age rejuvenation of that mix of genres too lately. Janalle, Jazmine Sullivan just two very recent examples. Amy Winehouse needs to get her shit back together too.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".
