i won't say the next were bad, they're just "alright" .. not FUCKING AMAZING like TES or MMLP

and tbh Encore > Recovery .. for me it's his worse album , Straight From The Vault is better lolz

About Royce, I never thought he was so good. He's good, sometimes.
His lyrics are nothing special, just punchlines, he doesn't tell a story. His flow is good but nothing more.
Beats are good when you make jogging. I listen to him, but I don't miss him.

Em makes me think, always, his music is full of concepts, images and feelings.
Recovery is an empathic album. My father was an alcoholic and, believe me, the psicological mechanisms he describes are... perfect.
He used pop music, but pop doesn't mean trash. The so contested LTWYL, for instance, is great, he told a story in 5 minutes and, you know, it's so real. He explained how the folie a deux works and how these sick relationships evolve (I don't like Rihanna, but the song needed the female point of view to be complete). It's the same for many other songs in the album.
I like session one, but it doesn't mean anything to me.

Yeah I like Royce but Eminem's music definately means more to me, even today. I just don't think they'd even fit together these days, when they were Bad Meets Evil Em's style was completely different. I know it might seem like he's come full circle now since he's gone back to doing punchlines but these garbage punchlines are entirely different from the punches he used to do.

And i honestly think people are romanticising Bad Meets Evil; they made some good songs, but I never felt desperate to hear more in all the years since they fell out. They were good songs, but it's just as well that they just stick with featuring each other, it's essentially the same. It was basically just a name to attribute to the songs; them not making an "official Bad Meets Evil mixtape" doesn't stop them from making good songs together (see: Echo) so I honestly couldn't care less.

I think MMLP is his best album.
