You can't judge him off his recent shit, I already said he fell of harder than Eminem. 2006 Vinnie > * though.

Fair enough I suppose, outside of JMT I didn't really check him out much aside from SOTA.

I still don't count Jedi Mind Tricks albums as his discography though.

How? Outside of the first and last albums he does all the rapping besides guest features. That's like saying you can't count Mobb Deep albums in Prodigy's discography.

Leave Prodigy out of this, although The Infamous was critically acclaimed for it's beats, Hell On Earth is all Prodigy.

Anyways if you want to talk about someone who's had great production than count Guru, Gangstarr were incredibly consistant though there's debate whether or not it's solely on Premier.

Is this all in an actual song? That's a perfect example of why I dislike dudes like IT and JMT.

Technique never comes up with shit like that.

Any one who thinks he does doesn't have a huge misconception of his music.

As for the question, general perception wise, Cube and Scarface's material (not just solo) comes first to mind.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".
