Just watching that interview and he seems like a real down-to-earth, smart, funny, guy who's got a great grasp on hip-hop and especially it's relevance in society and seems like the perfect person to represent the genre. Not afraid to have a laugh and seems comfortable in a different enviroment than he's probably used to - I like that.

Looking forward to that documentary of his.

(PS I know that interview is old)

EDIT: Another great interview:

Dude Ice has been one of the most genuine dudes in the game ever since he came out.

Some people like to have a go at his "gangsterism" speak even at such at an advanced age (for hip hop), but anyone who has experienced or lives hip hop the way Ice does know he speaks NOTHING but the truth.

He had a ridiculously great interview with Thisis50 a couple of months back where's talking about his life and it's just so real.

Ice T is one of the ONLY hip hop entertainers ever to speak what ever is on his mind. He has never ever gone around in circles, he's straight the point.

Plus, he makes great music. His last album (in 2005?) was dope. Ice is a great story for African Americans.

edit - here's his thisis50 interview. I could listen to his interviews for days.
