One of the best rap songs ever written.
Every time I listen to some overrated bullshit emcee I think of this track and how I wish he was still alive to rip those fake rappers a new asshole. The fact that he doesn't mention any rapper just makes it timeless - a track you can always relate to.
Big L represented everything great about hip hop. Probably the realest dude ever.

I've been thinking the same thing. Back then the most popular rappers were also the best but a great track nevertheless.

I love songs where it's practically post dated.
KRS' "My philosophy" is another one.
