I don't see what's wrong with "dropping knowledge" as long as it's done with tact, obviously randomly throwing out big words to look impressive is stupid, but if the rapper knows full well what they're talking about and aren't pretentious douches, than fine, let them "drop their knowledge".

-Having random punchlines just for the sake of having them, even though they're not good

-Saying a bunch of words that have more than one meaning and are similar even though they don't make sense both ways

-Featuring a pop star on the hook and making a love song

-Using the word faggot and other cuss words just to try and look controversal

-Dissing your previous work because your fans didn't like it

-Pretending to sound angry

-Getting a ton of beats that sound completely different from all the popular producers at the time in an attempt to sell more

-Not doing choruses yourself
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

Some of this "Africa must rise up"/ We can make a change etc. When K'naan does it, he got passion. When Nas does it, its alright. When i heard Weezy do it on "My Generation"... :shakehead:

He is right, 9/11 was an inside job.

If you believe the 'official' story, then you are an idiot.

Exactly what I was just about to say! He's not doing it because he's underground; he's doing it because they fucked him over and now that he expresses his personal feelings, it's a cliche? :shakehead:

- Tight jeans

- Huge sneakers

- Tight jeans that are sagged....what's the point of having the fucking jeans being tight?

- That new YM method of doing punchlines, e.g, "You're like a hooker baking a batch of cookies, bitch-made." <-- I just thought of that btw. Funny thing is most these new faggots would think that's "tight"
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

Well I feel sorry for people like you, those who take the authority as truth rather than the truth as authority.

Whether I believe the "official story" or the "conspiracy theories", it's still believing some sort of authority. Those are just two contradicting authorities. It's not like you went and did your own personal research on the matter.

In terms of knowledge, "authority" is someone who is supposed to have more experience/knowledge on the subject and gives you information as the truth. A historian telling you what led to WW2 is authority. CNN telling you 9/11 was organised by al-Qaeda is authority. Some reporter telling you not to believe CNN is still authority.

edit: in short, if the answer to "how do you know?" is "(s)he told me"... then (s)he is an authority.

The whole "struggle of being black" thing, and acting like black people get the shit end of the stick. I think at this point, slavery is far enough in history that we (white people) don't owe anyone anything.
