I don't see how that's not aimed towards me.

Well fuck you too than bitch, I hope you choke on a dick you judgemental prick.

Then I fail to see how you can enjoy her music, unless you just listen to music randomly.

Ignorance towards other genres, accessibilty (she's on the radio 24/7), laziness to find "better" music. Like I said I don't sponsor her music, and am not an avid listener, and when I jokingly mentioned I listen to a few of her songs, you decide to take it personally be all deragatory towards me.

Satire wrote:Lol how? It's not the best argument but when a genre this big is dedicated to lyrics chances are it will be the most lyrical. If a sport involves lifting, chances are that sport will require the most upper body training than other sports. It's geared for this. Alot of genres have great lyricists, but great lyricism is what this genre is.

It's a vocal art as well, not to mention a lot of old shool rappers main foucs was towards their voices rather than their lyrics. "Chuck D, LL cool J"

It wouldn't be an argument if I was saying "We're geared towards lyrics, therefore we have the best lyricists", but no, we're talking about which genre is the most lyrical.

So wait, I'm confused, you're telling me it has the most lyrics, not that it has the best quality lyrics?

> Implying that's all underground/90's rappers talk about

I was joking around but you were being vague, by your definition.

Knowledge. By my definition (in terms of music), thought-provoking or emotional information conveyed through lyrics. All genres with lyrics have this, but Rap's format and structure allows it to be expressed easier. I'm saying if you take two lyric sheets from Rap and another genre, you will probably have to pay more attention to the rap sheet.

The only difference is the amount of lyrics in rap in comparison to say metal, comparing quality is a different story.

Surely you can differentiate the bits that are clearly aimed to you and the more generic comments about Katy Perry's career? Or do I have to point it out in my posts?

Well yes take THAT personally, it was aimed at you! My God

I'm not judgemental, I know what Katy Perry's music is (I have to hear it enough) and I know it's garbage. That's not me being judgemental that's just fact.

If you don't sponsor her music why are you defending her so much against me? And I take it personally because lazy music gets on my fucking nerves, and I hate when people endorse it.

How the fuck was not directed towards me, do I need to quote the whole sentence?

Omg lol if you enjoy vapid pop music then fine, be an idiot, but stop taking everything I say personal

You're calling me an idiot for listening to her music, so yeah...
I'm not judgemental, I know what Katy Perry's music is (I have to hear it enough) and I know it's garbage. That's not me being judgemental that's just fact.

You can talk shit about her music all you want, but don't ever insult me for listening to her music.

If you don't sponsor her music why are you defending her so much against me?

I'm not defending her, I'm defending myself, and giving reasons as to why some people may listen to her music. Stupid reasons, yes, but still reasons, that aren't "Lolol she's hot"

And I take it personally because lazy music gets on my fucking nerves, and I hate when people endorse it.

Well that's your problem you need to work out than, and I don't endorse her music by any means. I said I listened to a few songs, I don't rush to the nearest store and buy her newest album.

THAT SENTENCE WAS AIMED AT YOU BUT MOST OF MY PREVIOUS POSTS WEREN'T

YOU HURT MY BRAIN

You're calling me an idiot for listening to her music, so yeah...

I'm afraid it's my opinion that people who enjoy this kind of music aren't of the highest intelligence.

I'm not defending her, I'm defending myself, and giving reasons as to why some people may listen to her music. Stupid reasons, yes, but still reasons, that aren't "Lolol she's hot"

Lol you haven't given any real reasons from what I can see, you even excused yourself liking it by saying stuff like it's because you are too lazy to scour other genres.

Well that's your problem you need to work out than, and I don't endorse her music by any means. I said I listened to a few songs, I don't rush to the nearest store and buy her newest album.

Maybe not, but in this digital age even a YouTube view counts as support. That's why all the morons who laugh at Friday are idiots, because all they're doing is making it bigger.

And I think you're an elitist egotistical douche, so congrats than.

Don't forget accessibility and the fact that she's on the radio 24/7, and excuse me for not being a music guru like yourself, like I said my comfort zone is Hip Hop that I rarely venture out off.

What's your point like I said, I don't own any of her albums, and only listen to her singles, I'm not a devoted fan. You're trying to spin my good natured joke posts of listening to her music, into some distorted warped version that it's not.

Accessibility is just your way of saying "she's popular and plastered everywhere so i like her"

What's your point like I said, I don't own any of her albums, and only listen to her singles, I'm not a devoted fan.

My point is that you may not be a huge fan but by listening to her and defending her you're still supporting her. And she shouldn't be supported. Her music is lazy garbage; she is by no means the only one of course, GaGa, Rihanna they're all the same in the end. But still, she's the one you mentioned so.

You're trying to spin my good natured joke posts of listening to her music, into some distorted warped version that it's not.

Well I for one did not know you were joking, I'm not trying to "spin" shit. Is this a big joke to you? Do you actually not like her? Or are you actually trying to defend her against me? Cause I sure can't tell.

Yes, called you out on it, if you think I'm just going to sit here and let you insult me and my intelligence for listening to her than you have another coming.

Accessibility is just your way of saying "she's popular and plastered everywhere so i like her"

So now you're making horrible strawmans, I don't listen to her because it's the cool thing to do. One of the key reasons is laziness coupled with ignorance. 90% of the music I listen to is Hip Hop, and enjoy a rock song, or pop song here and there.

My point is that you may not be a huge fan but by listening to her and defending her you're still supporting her. And she shouldn't be supported. Her music is lazy garbage; she is by no means the only one of course, GaGa, Rihanna they're all the same in the end. But still, she's the one you mentioned so.

Well if that's how you feel towards her music good, but Lol at you trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't listen to.

Well I for one did not know you were joking, I'm not trying to "spin" shit. Is this a big joke to you? Do you actually not like her? Or are you actually trying to defend her against me? Cause I sure can't tell.

No, I do listen to her shit of course (the singles only really), but you're trying to make this into one big ordeal and insult me for listening to her music. Am I defending her music or the quality of it, no, if you think it's trash, go ahead, I don't give a shit. But for you to be some elitist douchebag is lolworthy.
