Chester Bennington is the closest thing to Eminem in music

His attitude, how he looks, what he stands for, even the lyrics are similar. Everything about Chester screams MMLP Eminem. More so than Hopsin.

If Chester was a Hip Hop artist, he couldn't be because he would be too similar to Em and Em would be too similar to Chester. Funny thing is that they were both at their peaks in 2000 and had the exact same attitude at that time but as time passed... they changed. Another thing I've noticed is that most LP fans are Eminem fans and vice versa, I am. I was an hardcore LP fan before Eminem. I also find it intriguing how LP & Em have had similar careers in that sense that after their first albums they sorta became slighly less anger fueled (MMLP -> TES & Hybrid Theory -> Meteora). Then, after not being able to surpass their previous albums dropped sub-par CDs (Encore & M2M). Finally, they went on another direction with their music and released more commercial and their most mature albums (Recovery & A Thousand Suns). Yeah, I know, I skipped Relapse.

On this note, I hope to god that LP & Em collab. That's number 2 in my list just behind Tech & Em.

Ehh, I used to like LP years ago but I tried to go back and listen to their old albums and they just don't have the same effect anymore.

wow.... can't believe i fuckin agree with you (except for m2m bein sub-par, it's classic to me and just as good as the previous 2, so is a thousand suns)

M2M is good but it has some fillers. It's way better than Encore but slightly sub-par in comparison to their first 2 albums which are undisputable classics.

Hybrid Theory and Meteora are both classics. I will never forget the excitement I had for Minutes 2 Midnight only for it all to be destroyed The last album is just horrific preferred the Nu-Metal approach they originally had going

That's an interesting comparison. I like LP, and after a couple listens, ATS grew on me a lot. Songs like The Catalyst are fantastic.

Fuck yeah..I remember when the EP dropped..
'Part Of Me' was good shit. It sorta got the ball rolling.
And Lello has a point..They didn't fall off but went a different direction.
A lot of fans disagree though...I know I loved them when they were thrashy Rap Metal compared to the Techno.
Doesn't mean I don't support them and see their concerts..
