Spanish Jose - ZeMental vol. 1

Postby Hiphopdane » Apr 5th, '11, 18:38

I just heard about this producer, and thought I should spread the word. Honestly, this once again just proves that the illest hip hop producers exist in the underground. I have never heard about him before but can't get enough of his new instrumental album which is so soulful it's not even funny.

Below is a download link for it. Enjoy:

Spanish Jose's "ZeMental Vol.1"

This producer has worked with 9th Prince, Dom Pachino, Daddy Yankee, AKIR, Shabam Sahdeeq, Virtuoso and currently producing a project for me which will feature Wordsworth, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Rock of Heltah Skeltah, Sadat X, Grand Puba and many more. He is a very versatile producer and can make mainstream to underground music. Your feedback is welcomed.

The instrumental album starts off with Spanish Jose lead single "Nothing to Prove" then followed by 11 dope instrumentals. If you are an emcee and want to use the instrumentals, please send the finished tracks to spanishjose2011@gmail.com for us to listen. If you want to Spanish Jose to make beats specifically for you, email us at the above email.

Enjoy this free project. Vol. 2 coming this summer.

Do you like it? I love how he has added a bit of rock to the soulful sound.

I loved this.

Has an old school feel to it, but it's still hella fresh.
'Back To The Game' and 'Foolish Game' are my favorites, but every single track on here is just crazy.
I'll definitely be on the lookout for him.

Thanks again!

Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

It's brilliant. It didn't really remind me of Just Blaze though. More like SymbolycOne if anything (though he doesn't really have elements from rock music in his production).

One of my favourite instrumental albums this year.
