Good for Wiz :)
As expected Wiz Khalifa’s highly anticipated LP, Rolling Papers, sold 198,200 units, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, according to the Nielsen SoundScan report released today (April 6).

Also debuting on the charts this week was the rap game’s weed toking veteran Snoop Dogg with his album Doggumentary. The album moved 50,500 units in its first week out and landed a spot at No. 8.

Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers album sales continue to see a slight decline as he checked in at 23,400 units this go-round, sliding down to the No. 16 position. After four weeks, Lu’s third solo disc has a total sales figure of 303,200.

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday moved about 19,900 units this week as she maintained her No. 20 slot. In 19 weeks, Ms. Minaj was able to rack up 1,281,300 in stats.

Much like the Young Money princess, Eminem Recovery held onto his chart spot at No. 27, moving another 17,500 units. Shady’s Grammy award winning CD’s total tally stands at 3,773,100 units, after 41 weeks.

E-40 nearly managed to debut both of the albums in his double disc release in the Top 40. The disc Revenue Retrievin’: Graveyard Shift checked in at No. 40 and Revenue Retrievin’: Overtime Shift slotted closely behind at No. 42. Graveyard Shift moved 13,600 units while Overtime moved 13,400.

Although he did not reach the Top 40 XXL Freshman of the 2011 class Mac Miller moved an impressive 10,900 units of his On and On and Beyond EP. The sales were enough to garner him the No. 55 slot, impressive because the EP was announced a mere week before its release.

Stay tuned next week to see how Jim Jones’s Capo will fare on the charts. —Michael Naclerio

Quite impressive.

I hate bandwagoners though that jumped on the Wiz hype just because they heard "Black & Yellow"
