No because the RMC freestyle had a much better delivery, much better rhymes and was actually funny. It's his only verse that reminds me of him on SSLP.

The microphone freestyle was just him rapping that dumb voice and basically saying nothing.

I think the "Microphone" freestyle flow is way better. The delivery maybe yeah, the delivery in the first one is more defined but, the beat suits that.

And, considering you don't like Relapse I don't see why you like that. He's not really saying anything in that one either. Freestyles don't have to be profound, just good. And how is the voice in the "Microphone" one dumb lmao? it's a totally normal voice.

The "Microphone" one has a lot more edge, the lyricism is darker, it's just the right blend of psycho / self-bravado and character. He says a lot more in that one than the first.

Because the rmc freestyle is actually funny as I already stated. Plus the rhymes make it sound awesome.

Me and Westwood blasting off
Jacking off in a pair of Acid Wash, bumping Asher Roth

Hocked up holding a axe and saw
Jason mask is off but my face is plastered in Tabasco sauce

You don't wanna get my ass ticked off
I'm harder than playing basketball when I'm going through Crack withdraw

All great lines.

The microphone freestyle is boring as fuck. Yeah the flow is good but it's boring, I've seen much better flows like that.

Part Manson part Hannibal
Part mechanical shark throwin
Animal parts at Scarlett Johannson

That's the only good part of the microphone freestyle. It's not the perfect blend of anything, it's just the same old boring shit with average lyrics.

It's hardly funny. It's the same shit he always says. It's smirk-worthy but... half the shit there such as... "hocked up holding an axe and saw / Jason mask is off but my face is plastered in Tabasco sauce" is exactly like something he'd say on Relapse and you'd call shit and pointless.

Definitely not boring. It's bad-ass.

Once again it's the cynical minister Shady

Administer of the pain

Enter my gas chamber

< the phrasing is very satisfying to me. Since he came back or... on a lot of Relapse at least, he began writing like a writer. As in, not a rapper, like "administer of the pain", using little phrases and fables, ways of describing himself. Just sounds more eloquent.

Obviously it's not that eloquent, it's subtle but. There's just something about that kind of writing, has an authority to it, the way he interrupts himself "ENTER my gas chamber" like it's a narrative. I just find stuff like that way more satisfying than jacking off or cheap jokes which he could write a hundred of in five minutes. I could listen to shit like that "Microphone" thing all day.

I do like the one you like too though but, it's hardly anything special.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Block wrote:You're delusional. Eminem has been made fun of by people for ages for being a huge w.igger. Also, to try and set specific standards for what a 'w.igger' is, is laughable. It's a slang term made up to define white people acting black. There's no perameters or specifications that must be met (other than acting black, which Eminem has gotten down to a 'T'.. Also, Eminem doesn't speak in Ebonics when he talks LOL. Only in his music. Which = fake); A w.igger is a wi.gger is a wig.ger.

Also, thanks for sigging me. It truly shows my genius. That is probably the single best analogy for that type of situation. Displaying the fact that, despite a person's upbringing, they are still held responsible for their actions as adults, and are made to suffer the consiquences. (No matter how minor or severe) In Eminem's case, being labeled a w.igger. In a pedophile's case, ass rape in prison. Being a w.igger is a choice; Eminem chose to dress that way. He chose to market himself that way. He never dressed that way before getting signed. He was a normal white guy. You're a huge stan, I'm sure you've seen the old videos of him where he talked like a normal white dude and dressed normal. He didn't put on that image until afterward = W.igger.

If you don't see sense, you're not worth responding to. Eminem is a w.igger. You're his bitch.

Amadeo wrote:OMG. What a HORRIBLE analogy. That is officially the worst analogy/reasoning I've ever seen on an Internet forum. It's so retarded I can't even make fun of it. Sigged.

You don't even understand what the word "wig.ger" means. If wig*ger meant a white person who uses slang that mostly blacks use, Eminem would qualify. If a wig*ger meant a white person who makes a form of music that mostly blacks make, Eminem would qualify (and so would you and millions of others).

There are millions of white rappers today. I guess they're all w*ggers too, right?

But it doesn't. It means someone who didn't grow up in a black culture, doesn't naturally use black slang or wear those clothes, PRETENDING to do so. IE: a fake. And Eminem still, to this day, uses Ebonics, and retains some of the language patterns he developed when he was younger (he still says "yo whattup" and shit). Though he does it less now, because he's far divorced from that kind of environment now. He lives in a mansion with three white girls.

Maybe the environment you live in has something to do with the way you talk and dress??? Crazy theory, I know.

@Emineminsider: I pretty much destroyed you, as I did Amadeo. Any post from you only solidifies my dominance over your feeble-minded attempts at insults. Pancakes?

What does it not being on relapse have anything to do with it? I judge rap based on rap, not which album it's off of.

Lol that's not a very good reason for liking a song. Microphone is the exact same style as DZK and he has 100 songs that destroy microphone. That's probably why I find it boring.

Lmao, what are you talking about? when did I say that should have anything to do it... you're making the reverse point:

My point was, the things he's saying there sound like shit he'd say on Relapse and you'd call pointless and shit. You say almost all of Relapse is shit yet he's constantly saying a lot of things like he says in that freestyle, which you like...

Relapse sucks, none of his good verses of that time period were on that album except for the second half of the second verse of 3 AM

I don't actually think it sucks...I just said that for the sake of the conversation. Even though none of the best verses of that time period were on Relapse.

I think Relapse is a good album, nothing great but he has pretty decent lyricism at times. I'd probably give it a 6.5/10
