Jay-Z is better than Nas.
It'd be a classic if you bring stillmatic into this. This thread should be made in Hip Hop Domain tbh. It would be a personal classic for sure.

Anyways Nas I guess.
Nas is a much better thematic writer and has better of the English language not to mention is more "booksmart" and incorparates his knowledge into his rhymes without ever sounding like a Canibus.
Whereas Jay is more clever "wordplay" wise, with his double entendres.
Flow- I guess Jay is more versatile and consistant, but if their both at their primes than Nas' is definitely better.
Overall artist- Jay has better beats for the most apart, but his albums have stayed pretty remained the same throughout his career (road to riches story/mafioso), whereas Nas comes up with more unique concepts each album (well except for it was IWW, everyone was doing mafioso at the time).
