Just wondering, but how would Puffy know? Seems more conspiracy theory than fact.

Excluding all the other theories that we've heard over the years and keeping it on pure factual information, if you deduce the FBI reports listed above, you can come to your own conclusion.

Firstly, it has to be said that Puffy has always been rumored to have ties with organized crime in New York, his father was a good friend of Frank Lucas so Puffy was brought up in that world. The FBI reports above state that Biggie (and Bad Boy records) had ties with the Genovese crime family, it's stated clearly in their report about this. The Genovese family is one of the 'Five Families' of the NY mafia, and it goes further suggesting that the Genovese family even have photo and/or video evidence of the shooting.

Secondly, the majority of the people who were with Biggie when he died ALL gave information to the Police with their one (and only) interview, all except one person, Puffy.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".

I've read the first ten pages, but there is so much that's whited out. It's almost hard to even follow because of all that they blocked out. Just in the first ten pages they say that the same guy was identified by multiple people as the shooter. I believe they're talking about David Mack, the LAPD cop, but they've whited out his name along with so much else.

It's ridiculous that they accidentally released the files and then redacted it. The white boxes are just embarrassing.

Also, near the beginning, it says, "Both were worth millions and their was a "rivalry" going on between east coast rap vs. west coast rap."

Dunno, found the mistake funny.
