So you are saying an online forum is equivalent to to the rap game?

Well if you assume that Sugarhill Delight was the start of the rap game then Eminem came in 62.5% of the way into it.

That would be equivalent of him joining this site in August of 2008.

You can say it's different but it's the same principal

What he did actually MEANT something to the rap game. No one's gonna remember about Lil Dipshits in 10 years, but people will always listen to TES and consider it fucking awesome.

So you're saying that it doesn't matter how long someone has been around but the impact they've made?

Nope, I'm saying that it takes time and effort to get to the point where you can call yourself a "legend", I guess that's what makes the difference between "legendary" and "popular".

You know I have some respect for you and didn't want to do this or stroke my horn, but I have too much dignity to just let myself be dissed like that for no reason.

yoshi wrote: Really, when it comes to "legendary" members.. You might not like it (like I fucking cared), but none of you newbies actually count.

First off I already clarified that I don't really expect any of the "newbies" to be mentioned, but you have to be off your rocker if you're not give props to members like Satire who's been keeping this site active and thriving when all your "legends" aren't even that active anymore. And really I have no problem mentioning older members and giving their due, but I just want to turn this into a "Nostalgia thread".

Sorry (nah, I'm not tbh), but right now this is just fucking pathetic, you and your dumb ass childish disses and conspiracy theories - not funny at all,

A lot of the were perfectly logical and when garbage like EminemInsider's breakdown of block is allowed, hey why not?

general lack of taste when it comes to REAL hip hop and "trolls"

Oh so now you're insulting my Hip Hop taste when I'm one of the newer generation of members who kept the HHD from being utter shit? And I stopped being a troll a long time ago.

, which I've already seen through - you're just disgusting your overbearing stupidity. Guess what - whatever you're trying to do, you're doing it wrong obviously, but on the other hand - whatever helps you sleep at night, right?

Wht am I doing? But really i like when "old school " members think they can just come in here and act like they own the place after being inactive for a long ass time. But if that's how you feel, cool.

Only on this site could a thread about 'most legendary members' turn to a fucking breakdown argument!!

dead prez - I'm pretty sure yoshi was talking generally.

Keeping with Eminem analogies (class, you Stan), it's like saying "Eminem has been pretty shit since his comeback" - that's general, and there's obviously specific exceptions (Deja Vu for eg). In this case, the specific exception could be you.
