No of course not, they wouldn't have chosen Relapse to be what it was like, Eminem does what he wants. He's on contract to give them albums, he can do whatever the hell he wants outside of that. I think he means why is Em even in D12 if he's not gonna be involved in their projects? That's what comes with being in a group. It's not like they're a collective of MCs, they're a group/band and Em is the lead guy. That's like a Beatles album without John Lennon or a Nirvana record without Kurt Cobain. I do only listen to D12 for Em, and I do actually like D12 as long as Em's with them. I'm not afraid to admit that. You know why? Because honestly, Dirty Dozen are just so fucking boring without Em. They aren't even bad rappers (Other than Bizarre, he is terrible no matter how many simple multis he learns to use), in fact some of them are actually technically very good, but they don't say anything other than what I expect them to say.

They have no personality as a group at all. Fuck, they hardly even have personalities as individuals. It's obvious who was the driving force for the artistic direction in Devil's Night. Without him, they are literally a less lyrical Slaughterhouse with worse beats, a huge weak link, and maybe even less content. Maybe it's because they just "aren't trying" because this isn't album-work but nothing they do outside of their first 2 albums has any replay value at all.

Em should have been on this mixtape if he's trying to promote D12. He doesn't realize in the position he is he could make practically anyone a superstar, yet doesn't. He could turn ATone into the next Justin Bieber with a twitter mention.

On topic though, I did download the mixtape...haven't listened to it yet, but I'll probably end up deleting most of it once I do. I wouldn't say D12 is bad, but they aren't really anything to get excited over without Eminem and Proof.

I still think Proof didn't quite fit into D12. I know he started it and all, but there was something about his verses on the D12 albums that didn't feel right. He was easily the second best member but he seemed more like he would be suited to Wu-Tang or something. I dunno.

If Em is going to half ass the album like he did this mixtape then im not even going to bother listening to it. Without Proof, and Em going all in, D12 is fucking trash.
