he talks about Adam Lambert on Elevator so it's got to be from 2009 (around the time relapse 1 got released) rather than 2008

It honestly wasn't that much better than the over two songs rhyme-wise (except CWYWF second verse - sounds more like his pill stuff), especially as he wasn't writing to any particualr concept.

I reckon those stupid ass leaks that BILI mentioned are from 2008 as well. Em just fucking about to get back into the shape of writing/recording. All Em produced as well so I assume there from that era.

Haters getting mad, they done had enough of shady
You slay me, nothing you say matters and nothing can shame me
Rappers try to play me, they use Hailie as a ukulele
Woopsa that a fucking daisy
That's a no-no even she knows dada's fucking crazy
Fucking animal, cookoo, bananas, fucking A B
Maybe it's because I never had a mother raise me
Fuck around and throw a baby at another baby

Yeah, for every time you ride down the street
Or hideout, drive by my house and beep
Like now motherfucker, try now to sleep
Lie down fucker (BAAA!), try countin' sheep
And you're tryna find out, why now there's beef?
Mase in your face bitch, cry now pussy
This is my house, all nine thousand feet
So you can suck my dick with Amy Winehouse's teeth

I know some rhymes in the first verse have syllables that don't line up but oh well. It was better rhyming-wise than I had thought it was originally tbh.

3rd verse is better than I first thought.

The first verse is still average. You can't have 6 and 8 syllables rhyming lol. It's just shady/shame me. the rest is still boring rhyming because of the dull as fuck rhyme scheme. Plus it's all gibberish.

It's before the Relapse sessions, I'll say that much. But yeah probably after first sessions.

I'm pretty sure before those series of rhymes he has a set of mother/fucking/another and such rhymes. Don't know if you caught them.

Overall, I'd say it's way better rhyming-wise than those two songs so that's why I have my doubts.

@slimsox - I think he added those 'faggot' lines in for Refill release.

M-Pyre wrote:Haters getting mad, they done had enough of shady (haters, mad, had, shady) inverted!

Ultimate reach. 2 and 3 syllables respectively between both rhyming words.

You slay me, nothing you say matters enough that you shame me (you slay me, matters, you shame me)

The fuck? He's rhyming "shame me" with "shady". Which is a boring rhyme scheme. Same with "slay/shame".

Rappers try to play me, they use Hailie as a ukulele (rappers, to play me, they use hailie as a, ukulele)

Rappers rhymes with matters. Wow, amazing stuff.

Rest is just a part of boring rhyme scheme.

Woopsa that a fucking daisy (that, fucking daisy)

Fuck around and throw a baby at another baby (baby at another baby)

This is good stuff but it's complete gibberish - forcing rhymes. "fucking A B" - what does that even mean?

The fuck are you trying to rhyme 'animals' with?

I said the 3rd verse was good, cbf to argue with that.

you know how some people are tone-deaf? it might be that you are (on some levels) rhyme deaf. if you listen to the song with a rappers ear, then you should be able to point all the syllables he is trying to rhyme. at least, I can hear it and thats what matters anyway

edit: that was the second verse I posted after the first one. if thats what you meant

I got the rhymes. They're just not that good and that rhyme scheme is played out. The rhymes at the end are long and pretty impressive but what he's saying is pretty much gibberish.

And no, it's not on par with The Eminem Show, not even close. The amount of rhymes, maybe, but overall quality, no.

i would agree with you if i hadn't heard that interview with Em about We Made You where he said he doesn't alter songs once he records them...it's like a painting as he described it

Elevator is awesome...that's how Relapse should have been (voice wise).

Not only did Eminem have the "pill" voice in Elevator, but some of the content was downright embarrassing.

"They use Hailie as a ukulele....whoops-a-dadda fuckin' daisey....fuckin' A, B?"

That's Vicodinem type stuff. Had to have been early 2008 recordings. I'll believe he time traveled to the future to learn about Adam Lambert before I believe he recorded that entire song in 2009.
