The general attitude of their fans. Pretty sure I've seen ta similar topic before but not too recently so whatever.

Honestly, other than racist Juggalos (No offense PK), Lupe's fans piss me off. He's one of my favorite rappers, he's good, but even after Lasers, every one is treating him like the second coming of the Spaghetti Monster. In fact, I'm pretty sure that Lasers even strengthened his legacy because of the Oh-I-fought-the-man-and-the-man-won, pity-me backstory it gave him for when he makes an explosive comeback when he drops his next, more than likely, "classic" album.

Everybody acts like he's on a whole other pedestal of lyricism and cannot be touched by any other rapper because of the extended wordplay style he pursues. I saw an XXL Cover with him bowing down and praying with the words "Hip Hop's most enlightened MC" right next to his cheek because of the Lasers incident. I just found that really fucking melodramatic and obnoxious.

Anyways, yeah, play nice children.

Nas- a lot of them like to search for trouble and just randomly go on Jay z videos constantly bringing up Ether, even though the beef was over years ago. Or ones that constantly praise illmatic, when they only do it because it's supposedly the Hip Hop bible, and can't appreciate any other Nas albums because off that. Or ones that think he's "The Best lyricist ever", (not saying he's not a great lyricist btw) when they aren't even aware of what a quarter of the genre puts out.

Eminem- a lot of the casual fans are teeny boppers who think that Recovery and Relapse are the shit, or those that think he's the only rapper to rap about shit other than "cars, money , clothes, hos", etc you know what stereotypical rappers only rap about.

Big L- He probably benefitted the most out of the "death hype" (out of posthmous rappers), so many people like to front like they know hip hop, just because they have Devil's Son in their ipod, meanwhile Big L has probably garnered quite a cult following and isn't that obscure, even outside the internet. Or those that worship his punchlines for being superb, when they haven't aged well, sure he still has a few great ones, but nothing spectacular.

Definitely Lil Wayne's fans.. Especially the ones who say he is the best rapper alive. The blinded sheep. But.. Main reason is because they all think his lyrics are beyond what they really are. You ask why he is so great or to give examples and they don't do it they just say you don't understand his lyrics or what he's saying. Which is more fucking annoying than anything. Basically they give him way too much credit.

Yes, Lupe is overrated. Not in the media/mainstream's eye, but by other hiphop heads. It's like Eminem, for example. His first 3 albums were fucking amazing so now everyone (not literally) thinks if he farts on an instrumental it's a classic.

I can't get into 90% of what lupe does. Which is weird, really, because I love that style of intellectualism in music. Don't get me wrong, I ran through food & liquor more times than I can't count.. He just got boring to me. He sounds the same in every song without any form of variety as far as musicality is concerned.

As for IT... Lol. I can't stand that shit. Not to mention he's so offbeat it's almost laughable.
