Salute is about not getting the props they deserve. Not Tonight is a feel-good, celebratory song about no one touching them and about saving Hip Hop, Microphone has a bit of a concept. The only one slightly correct is Cuckoo. Even though the song is clearly talking about how crazy they are but I'll give you that one because I feel bad for your abundance of losses.

Yes Lello, I've listened to the album. You're missing the point. BOTH of their albums have the few "serious" songs of introspection.

You're saying that punchlines and rapping about how great you are is rapping about nothing.

A good amount of Rhyme Asylum's album was Horrorcore, rapping about how great they are & punchlines. Saying that punchlines & greatness isn't content is saying that alot of work from RA doesn't have content.

I don't even support Slaughterhouse's album. I thought it lacked direction. But you're just arguing the wrong points.

most rhyme asylum's songs aren't braggin though, if they have songs like that, it's probably 1 or 2 on each album and not the majority... so i'm not makin shit up

Just skimming through, Ground Zero, Straight Jacket Part I, Multiplicity, Poison Penmanship, Attitude Problem, Straight Jacket Part II & Iller Instinct are all punchline/I kill you/"You rappers suck" tracks. The only difference is they have the "I'm insane" theme to them with the album. That's 7/13 (Excluding skits and the remix)

straight jacket part 1 & 2 are def. considered horrocore songs and they ain't bout nothin

A horrorcore song isn't any better than a song about being better than other rappers. One side is "I'll kill you", the other side is "I'll kill you on the mic". That's just taste, that doesn't mean that it's "nothing".

Punchlines are entertainment value.
