When I first joined:
- I thought Lose Yourself was overrated for some reason. Somehow, I never even noticed the rhyming in this song. Hate on it.
- I really fucking hated 2Pac's voice and music.
- I thought Kanye turned into an auto-tuned R&B singer so I never gave anything but his first album a chance. I think 808's is pretty dope now.
- I thought Eminem was the best white rapper alive
- Not when I first joined, but when I heard about him I thought B.o.B's debut was going to be amazing. I ended up fucking hating alot of it.
- I thought Nas > Eminem
- I thought that was Sticky Fingaz on that Air Strike diss.
- I thought Relapse was really bad.
- I thought Blueprint 3 was good.
- I thought Stillmatic > Illmatic

Before-I thought Eminem was obscenely overrated and had the worst stans by far.

After- Now I only believe one half of that statement, you can guess which one.

Before- I used to think that Nas was the GOAT by far and that there was huge disparity between him and Eminem in favor of Nas

After- Still have him in my top 3 topped by Ghostface and P, and can see people not enjoying him or his style at all, and the gap between Nas and Em is a little slimmer now, in my eyes.

Before- Biggie was a grade A top 10 at best mc, and had one of the best flows/deliveries off all time.

After- Still enjoy Biggie's music a lot, but realize that he's eclipsed many other mcs in various factors.

Before- 90s Hip Hop> All

After- I still favor mid 90s Hip Hop, but realize that it's not without its faults.

Before- 90 percent of underground is pretentious babble.

After- I still believe that there are many pretentious bullshit mcs, but realize that the underground is too broad to categorize like that. Not to mention many of my favorite mcs now are underground OBL, Gift of Gab, Dessa.


Before- Used to think those who hated on Lil Wayne, were ignorant towards his better material, and used to believe he was a top tier punchline rapper.

After- I still have some respect for him, and bump his old shit, but after exposing myself to a wider variety of Hip Hop even some of his best songs are intolerable to listen too.

Didn't know what is a punchline, what are multies, i only judged rappers by their flow/voice.
Wait for the worst.. I found Lollipop enjoyable. But i only heard it like twice before i came here, so i took a look at the lyrics and i was like yo shit what the hell does that even mean? Schurp schzurp? Lmaooo

I loved recovery and still do. Thought underground was .. well i didn't even know what underground was.
thought eminem was the only rapper worth listening to, when i first joined. Now i listen to a lot of rappers from different periods.

Glad i joined this forum.
