He wants to let Wayne make himself look stupid. Is it his fault for having a sense of humor?

You don't suck up to a guy in your own albums and stick with him for this long if it was just a joke. And frankly if Em was that dishonest and two-faced I would lose even more respect for him; what kind of guy would do that? End of the day he isn't making Wayne make himself look any stupider than he could on his own, if anything he's giving Wayne more listeners by working with him.
That was me being sarcastic and insulting Weezy, of course his praise of Wayne is not a joke (sadly).
He's letting him do it because despite he himself thinking it's a corny idea to create a sequel, I'm sure he's flattered by the idea that one of the newer "superstars" of rap is basically making a tribute to it. Or, he could be genuinely curious to see what Wayne actually does with the story. Or, maybe he doesn't give a fuck because it's Wayne. It isn't going to "damage his legacy". It's the same as when these new musicians get permission from legends to make shitty covers of classic songs. The same as why there's a thousand slices of "American Pie". The truth is why stop them lmfao.
It isn't going to hurt the original artist in any way and no matter what everybody is always going to say "the original is better", so what's the harm? Yeah, it's a stupid idea, but Weezy has alot of stupid ideas, this isn't any different other than the fact that it's referencing Em's "Universe", so why not let him on this one?
On top of all of that, how do we know that Em even approves of it? After Em rejected it SwizZz went searching for other artists to hop on the beat. They don't require Em's consent to make a sequel like this.
