Damn, Tupac/Tech N9ne/Del Hybrid? LISTEN NOW

Postby FreeSpeech » Apr 17th, '11, 19:25

Randomly stumbled across this on Hip Hop DX, DAMN!!!
Voice kinda like Tupac, sings the ending syllables like Tech, and he's a spacey mofo like Del.

I've only listened to a couple songs so far, he doesn't have a lot, but he's dope! Also, the bass on this song is nasty, I've got it bumping hard...
His mutis are pretty ill too. This is my favorite song of the week.

Well, wack :coffee:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

How is it meh? The lyrics are dope, the beat is sick and driving, he flips his flows up constantly, his voice dominates the track. Did you even listen to the whole thing?

His lyrics don't say anything interesting at all. Wow, he's got some multis, how original, like I said, meh.

The beat is simplistic, but not simplistic in a good way. Even though I hate Odd Future, some of their beats are simplistic in a good way, this is just loud and obnoxious. It's annoying dime a dozen southern garbage. Meh.

Lol he switches his flow, okay? His delivery is so pretentious and try hard that I want to punch him in the face. He sounds like he's getting fisted. The "Sing syllable" you were talking about in the OP definitely does not work here. Him cutting into the middle of the next bar to emphasis the last syllable doesn't sound good at all. I'm not fond of his voice either. Meh.

Face it, it's "meh" to me. Yes, I did listen to the whole thing annoyed out of my mind because I waiting to understand your hype around it and it never came. It got better when he started rapping faster, but even then it still wasn't enough to make me care. Meh.

If it makes you feel any better I atleast see where some of your comparisons come from.

Just out of curiosity, do you think Tupac or Bun B or Rakim have good voices? I've noticed you like guys with weak "white" voices, I guess you kind of identify with them...

And this dude is sick, I find it kinda interesting the people I argue with here are the ones hating it, the dude is dope.

The gravedigga can give it in different ways
But slick isn't innocent either
Feeling the intricate rendering of infinite sentences
With a pen with adrenaline building the ether
Somebody go get me a hospital for the mentally ill,
It's killing me, literally
^Dope

Lol okay. You linked The ILLZ a few weeks ago and I said I liked him, so it has nothing to do with that. The only person who was mad enough to carry on an argument from something over to another thread was you. You put rappers I like in the title of the thread, said it was really dope so I was expecting really dope, and it ended up being very forgettable.

That part you linked was also meh, it was just in-rhyming. So many people can do that. It sounded like lyrics from Infinite but flowing faster.

From the guy who said...
I know that Hopsin only sold like 350 albums and barely anyone knows who the fuck he is outside of a few forums hes spammed with his garbage but i see the same people talking about it as if its the cool thing to do. Its not. Hes fucking terrible. There is absolutely no originality whatsoever in anything he does, i actually listened to his album RAW and after giving up paying attention to the subpar material he wrote while apparently living in his moms basement it actually became quite interesting. I decided to try and pick out even a segment of a verse that didn''t sound like a bad Eminem or Tech N9ne impression or another rapper and just couldn't. I guess the forum sheep have fallen into the gimmicky contacts and a mention of 'illuminati lulz' trap.

slimsoxshady wrote:lol wtf? that dude sounds like he's a got a dick down his throat

Yeah, I don't like listening to rappers that sound like your mom either ;)

Sorry guys, I guess I'm the only one who thinks this dude's dope. I love his delivery, it's powerful and his lyrics were sick. Oh welllll
