"Fast Lane" isn't what happens when Bad meets Evil

Postby SoldierShady » Apr 29th, '11, 14:56

I think it's pretty safe to say this.
Zero personality from the both of them. And Eminem's monotone in all his verses really gets to me. When I read that Bangladesh and frickin' DJ Khalil (again) are going to feature as producers on this project I instantly knew it was going to be meh. :facepalm2 I don't even know why they're calling the EP "Bad Meets Evil" after listening to Fast Lane (Yes, I'm judging that one song only)

But we'll see.....right?

I agree that the song overall is meh, and greatly lacking in substance. I doubt the EP will be anything special. Echo is dope and Living Proof was fairly dope though. I'll be glad when Em has stopped committing so much of his time to Royce and starts finding a new direction for his own material. But Khalil is a beast producer.

Proof you a needlessly whiny moron who doesn't know what he's talking about. Are you serious? Khalil is one of the dopest dudes out and has probably the closest beats to Dre (hence Kush sounding like an actual Dre track). Are you just stupid and confusing him with DJ Khaled? How many beats of his have you ever listened to?

His beats are dope, if you didn't like his beats on Recovery, that's because Em wanted that style.

I think my favourite Khalil beat is "Cuckoo". Actually woulda liked to have heard Em go sick on this:
