Honestly I don't know how to answer this question. I've gone through too many obsessive phases of rappers to be able to list a concrete top 5 out of my favorites. The only indefinite ones would be Eminem & Nas, maybe Slug & Lupe at this rate.

I used to think Jazzy Hip-hop but after I realized how many people pursue that style it just got boring to me. I like anything that moves away from the usual or adds its own uniqueness to it. If I had to choose one right now, it's probably something like this:
