Once you get respect or acknowledgment you become part of the community, the "neighborhood". Everyone treats you like they know you, so it becomes somewhat of a second life. You will continue posting because you're expected to, by everyone here and more so, by yourself. There's some discussion on this site that you won't find in real life, and even if you find it on other forums, it's less comfortable because you won't be participating with people you're familiar with, which goes back to my "neighborhood" concept. You want everyone here to know your opinion on things, so you don't turn down any opportunity to do so.

Or, maybe it's because you don't have much else to do in your free time and this is your only option. Either way, basically, you've become attached. You should've known better not to fuck with us, ain't got nothing but too much to lose.

I think there's a point when you realize how hated you are by the people around you, and you have two paths to go. You either leave with your sanity, and become numb to the insults/beatings. Macdaddy has chosen the latter, but instead of being an generic emo bitch who cries "Like I care what people on the internet think!" he decided to mold himself into this cocky-on-the-surface, bitter-underneath person who's lost his way ever since his companions have left or been banned from this forum, one by one. He put up one last initial fight with Block but that held to no avail, so he'd just given up and put up this tough guy front because really he just doesn't give a fuck anymore.

He's not going to spend time to think of a real insult because he knows that he's going to lose, so he's just going to appear that nothing harms him. He's not going to ever leave, because he still has hope that there's a place for him in this community like there once was when JMG & Sac were still characters here, but there isn't. What we're looking at right now is not a douchebag. What we're looking at is the hollow shell of a douchebag with a monotonous personality who is just going to roam the backstage and give us the same opinion because that's all he he has to offer. I don't consider him a real member, he's just there. However, he will always spend nights in Tinychat conversation with his accountants, planning empty plots and reminiscing on what once was.
