You can pause by clicking on File, Quicksave, or Debug in the toolbar at the top.. Just clicking on any of those pauses it until you click in the game.

Oh yeah I know that I just was talking more about the actual pause screen that was in the game. Not a big deal or anything haha I was just curious.

I think I managed to save anyway haha, saved a copy into the "saves" folder so I assume that worked. Ima try and load it now see if it did

Yeah, so where you can see like your percentage and stuff. Enter goes to the actual pause screen.

Yeah, I knew it was one of the F's, since I play/save these games all the time. Anyway, I forgot to mention that some of the automatic response emulators are in Spanish because the coder that wrote them is from Spain/Argentina... or somewhere that is Spanish speaking.

Anyway, if you have any trouble just PM me. Like I said, I can solve any issue related to the PSX emulation games (since I do a bit of coding myself).
