I like Kanye to an extent but that's just untrue.. and hopefully he isn't followed.

Kanye is one of the most conscious/personal mainstream stars EVER. Roses, Hey Mama, Heard Em Say, Diamonds, Crack Music, all of MBDTF, the list goes on and on. There wasn't a single party/bitches/radio hit song on MBDTF. All of the lights would be the closest thing to that.

I'm not saying he doesn't have songs that aren't, but neither does any rapper really. He has songs about money/jewelry, he has songs "degrading to women," etc.. And he doesn't usually drop good lyrics while doing it. I'm just saying it doesn't make sense to say he doesn't, and that rappers should follow in his footsteps because of that.
