I love Common but since I am a boisterous, rough, young rebel and I do the exact opposite of what the system placed in front of me wants me to do I will not appreciate him in this thread.

Some people accuse him of being soft but truth is that he is one of hip hop's few true poets and the mastermind behind one of the genre's most important songs ever. Perfect concept, perfectly executed.
His rhyming isn't that far off some of the greatest ever in this game either. He will always be one of my honorable mentions when we talk about the best rhymers there has ever been strictly because of his ability to rhyme so effortlessly without compromising his general lyrical talent.
Kanye West and Common are a match made in heaven. Just had to add that.
