No Apologies

Postby Master Chief » May 6th, '11, 22:56

I feel like this song is the best Eminem song 2002+. I know I said Going Through Changes was in some other thread but after listening to it non-stop for a week. It's definitely an Eminem gem. Rhyming is prime-TES stuff, the production is beautiful and full of rage, Eminem's delivery is extremely angry, I could genuinely feel how fucking mad he was, this is why I said that No Apologies is very similar to The Way I Am. It was too excellent of a song to be included on The Re-Up. A Top 10 from Eminem, hands down.

With all this said, I do not think it would've fit in TES. It just doesn't 'sound' like The Eminem Show. I mean, the song is better than every track on TES except for TIC & SFTM. But, I can see that Em cut it for that reason because I'm sure the man knows that No Apologies was a masterpiece. Ignoring the fact that it didn't fit on TES if this and Renegade were on there replacing Drips & My Dad's Gone Crazy then this album would catapult to untouchable status and would definitely be better than MMLP rather than always debating if isn't or it's not.

Best angry Eminem song.

This song is dope as Fuck! One of my favorites, for sure.

I've always considered this song to be an "end of an era" for some reason.
maybe that's because it was the last song on the Re-Up.

TES has always been my favorite album but I agree that if No Apologies was on there instead of Drips it would be that much better. If I had to I would trade When The Music Stops with Renegade.

oh my dawg, what tha fuck no! when the music stops is D12's masterpiece...I could bump that song till I fuckin' die...it's fuckin' brilliant! :worship:
At least I know that I don't know...question is: are you bozos smart enough to feel stupid?!-hope so!!!

'No Apologies' and 'Stimulate'! Had they been on The Eminem Show, then no way could any other album compare.

Personally, its my Favorite Eminem song of all time. Its this part which just defines it for me
This song isn't for you, it's for me, a true MC
It's what it do just to see if he still has it
And if his skills mastered,
He's able to spill raps long after his killed, that's a real MC

It was real anger, real emotion, pure passion for the mic. The production is also so good that you can play it over and over and over. This song is :worship:

Just saying though, why do people hate on Re-up Eminem? I mean, No Apologies, Public Enemy #1, We're Back and The Re-up are all good IMO. Hell, even the opening skit is banging!

^ I understand. Re-up was a mess, a long ass album with too many rappers and very little cohesion. But the Eminem parts are still hated on massively on TR

Is it true that the first two verses are old and the last verse was recorded during the Re-Up era?
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?
