Eminem was paying tribute to Royce on Dead Wrong, not the other way around.

I'm pretty sure Lupe mentions em in one of his songs off Lasers. Cant remember which one.

I'm pretty certain that you're Dead Wrong.

"Dead Wrong" (remix) came in 99. Em was still in the high-pitched Shady, cartoonish violence style and he was not an active producer.

"Renegades" however, is produced by Eminem and he is in the deeper, more mature, political style characterized on 'Devi's Night' and 'The Eminem Show'. Eminem did not sound like this pre-2001 and the beat is clearly from then too.

Also, the things that Em is saying on "Renegades" proves he was already established and a public figure too, on a mass scale aka after The Marshall Mathers LP.

Therefore, Em's verse came first. Royce is paying homage.

lol, nice pun EmBase.

But I'm fairly certain that Renegade with Royce came in 97, and Dead Wrong in 99.

On Death Is Certain (the album) Royce does it multiple times.

Again, I'm fairly certain that you are wrong lmao.

Once again, Em was not actively producing in 1997 and certainly not like that.

He also was not rapping like that. Listen to his voice and his lyricism, and the things that he's saying. That style is clearly 2001 / 2002 and he's saying things which clearly imply that he's already a worldwide figure that's been criticized...

I'm debated, disputed, hated and viewed in America as a motherfucking drug addict...

The new Ice Cube, motherfuckers hate to like you

The Eminem on that track is 100% NOT 1997 Eminem. But, I think you know this and are probably 'trolling' or whatever. Trolling never gets old...

The Jay-Z version came on 9/11, 2001, the Royce version has to be 1999/2000.

He sent it to Jay and Jay lay his verses on it. And since it was on The Blueprint which came out in 2001, it was probably a last minute thing.

But, Em did not rap or produce like that in 1999. But he did in 2001.

His verses are very Devil's Night-ish. So I'd say he did it with Royce in late 2000 or early 2001. But it certainly was not made before "Dead Wrong".

No trolling here. I still think it was from 97/98, because the original production leaves much to be desired not like his production from 2000-2003.

I think the first thing he produced fully by himself was The Way I AM

It's NOT from 97/98 are you insane... ?

His did not rap like that in that period. He progressed from Infinite to that Slim Shady style and stayed with it until 2000 when it evolved. 99/00 was a crossover.

And, 01/02 was a new crossover where he had a deeper, smoother tone and wrote politically and in a more serious style. You cannot be serious? he sounds nothing like 97/98 Em on that track. It is 100% not from then. And once again, he did not produce then either. First beat he produced alone was "The Way I Am" (2000).

And again - the things he says in the verses, clearly already established and huge.

97 Em = "Low, Down and Dirty".

01 Em = "Fight Music" and "Renegade". Notice how similar his lyricism is, in terms of the things he's saying. That's THAT style. It's not pre 00. Definitely not. I don't even know why I'm arguing this. You must be trolling.

And the original production is clearly a skeleton track. Em makes skeleton tracks and then builds on top of them. I heard him detail it about the "Patiently Waiting" beat. But that aside:

a) he didn't produce on his own pre-2000.
b) he didn't rap like that pre-2000.
c) the things he was saying couldn't logically make sense or be reality pre-2000.
