It sucks when you're a guest living at someone's house and you're the only one in the house who isn't sick. Maybe I have a super immune system or something, or maybe I just eat better than them? Maybe it's both, since they would influence one another.
It also sucks when you don't know anyone in the area you're in, and the few people you do know either don't respond when you try to contact them or they're working/have other responsibilities.
It sucks when both of the above reasons are happening at the same time. Good thing I have internet on my phone now, my ipod touch with some cool games/beats, a notebook/pen, the weather is nice, and I have a skateboard to cruise on or a car to use.
Oh, I almost forgot...it's also akward as hell to tell the people you're staying with that you would like them to leave the house for the night/a few hours. Especially when one of those people is your father. Even more so when they're sick. Oh, not to mention that one is usually up at all hours of the night too. I need to brainstorm ideas or just come out and say it. I'm an adult, they'll understand...but it's still akward as hell.
Well now that's off my chest, but it really isn't.
I feel you man. I was in a similar situation, only with the awkward amped up times ten fold.
