Dead Wrong was recorded first.

Renegade was originally recorded for Rock City but wasn't completed in time to make the final cut.

Plus, the original Renegade surfaced 4 years after Dead Wrong

and as Embase has stated, Eminem wasn't into producing his own tracks heavily until around that time.

EmBase, if it was from 2000-2001, why did he make two completely different beats for the same verses?

He didn't make completely different beats.

The "Renegades" original beat is the same beat, it's simply stripped down. It's a skeleton track. Em makes skeleton tracks to lay down the basic melody and then builds upon them.

You can hear it's the same track, but then he built upon it.

How do you possibly think it's 97/98 when he's calling himself the new Ice Cube and saying he's debated in America and referencing himself as this huge figure when he hadn't even dropped an album yet? lmao. I mean... are you oblivious to SOUND. He sounds nothing like that in 97/98.

He did not start rapping like that until AT LEAST 2000. And he did not produce by himself until 2000 either. Those facts alone mean it's not pre-2000 but you don't even need those facts, it couldn't be more obvious to anybody with human ears that the styles are so vastly different. It'd be like hearing a Relapse track and saying it's from 2006 or something. Knowing full well he didn't start rapping like that until 2009.

Asher Roth made a tribute to Em, I guess, in a way.
