Honestly, who ddnt know FIFA was corrupt? 8 out of the 24 people who voted have been accused... to date. No offense, but no wonder Qatar won the bid- got the easiest way of being corrupt without answering to anyone. At least Blatter aint rubbishing the claims but its about time people really cleaned up or ABOLISH this enemy to football. Demanding a knighthood to get a vote? MADNESS.

what's wrong with qatar and russia having to host the world cup??

Why should england or other countries host twice, while regions only drool in their sleep about having to host the world cup and it finally happened, everyone complains....

The world includes every region u know?

I think the problem people have is that this 'sharing the world cup' around the world is actually just a front for the corruption in FIFA. These places got it because of their riches and the money they gave for votes.

Qatar is going to be like 45-50 degrees C, how can proper football be played in those temperatures?

Also bear in mind that unfortunately Qatar does not have a rich football history and would never in a million years be able to host as good a world cup as England - the home of football.

It was great to give Africa a world cup, but Qatar? Pointless. It's not fair on the team or the fans.

Lello wrote:it's not about how good you are, england already hosted the 1966 world cup, so the middle east don't get a chance to host just cause their teams aren't good enough?

plus, the stadiums gon have massive technology, the temperature inside the stadium will be 20 degrees Celcius less than the outside.

and no it's not pointless, why should africa take it and middle east not? why should west europe take it and east europe(russia) not?

I don't care if the reasons behind the chosing are corrupt or not, but the countries chosen are more than fair for the regions they are in.

2026 should be for australia

In a way, I agree that the WORLD cup, should go to all regions of the world. Giving a world cup to the Arab world could do wonders for world peace. People were irritated because England spent millions on their bid when they never had a chance, no matter how good.

It's how far you go. Should the world cup never be held in England / Germany / Spain / Italy again because they've already had it? These countries have done so much more than Qatar for football. I'm sure they have the technology but it's completely ignoring the world's fans because nobody apart from FIFA wanted a world up in Qatar.

@Lello, you know, i actually aint got a problem with Qatar hosting the world cup.... but HOW they did it is the problem. IMO, not having hosted it before should be part of the criteria- not the whole cake and icing on top. I gave Qatar as an example because i believe that Australia gave a Solid bid while Qatar just gave some science fiction "want to do" list of things. Australia had not hosted it before, had a great bid, was transparent... yet it was never even considered a contender. WTF?!!

FIFA is a corrupt, hypocritical piece of shit. Its the reason the World Cup kinda flopped in SA tbh

it should be held again there, but not until every part (didn't say every country) of the world gets a chance to.

either the decision was corrupt or not (not sure if there's proof either way), it was a good choice. and australia should defiently get it 2026.

If England has to wait until every part of the world has held it, we will all be long dead and buried!

TBH, international football bores me anyway, I don't really care about it.

Dani alves is the best right-back in the world, in my opinion, and one of my favorite players, he always runs and offers himself up for a pass throughout the 90 minutes
