No, I can't
Yes.
I didn't mean that the media focuses of PC FPS just that the best FPS games are on the PC. TF2, Crysis, Unreal, The Battlefield Series, Half Life, need I go on? Now obviously a lot of them aren't exclusive to PCs and can be played on consoles, but their core fanbases (the modding community) are on PC. Just like the Elder Scrolls series can be played on the 360 but everyone plays it on the PC, cause of the vast amount of options you have.
It's like FPS were made to be played on the PC, they have better controls (mouse and keyboard is more accurate than a joystick), though if you want you could switch to a 360 controller (though I don't know why you'd do that as it'll be like shooting yourself in the leg), free maps, and most importantly mods.
Well, I'm not talking about Halo on PC so I don't understand why we're still stuck on this. The only things I've been comparing are CS & Halo overall as franchises. Yes, CS on PC is more popular than Halo on PC.
I absolutely hate playing video games on a PC because a console is much more convenient and easier to use. Plus, a TV screen is bigger than a PC screen. And I personally feel that FPS were meant for consoles only.
Half Life 2 got higher than both Halo 2 and Halo 3, but really enough with the review sites. Cause I could easily bring in accolades as well, I know both series garnered a huge amount of GOTY awards, so in terms of accolades they're pretty close.
But really why the hell do you have such a boner for complacent reviews, you can cut diamonds with that shit.
So it's settled...
I don't have a boner with reviews, I just find reviews for games much more reliable than reviews for any other media. Plus, I wanna back up my argument with something.
If you mean which is more likey to be discussed by the zitted up prepubescent faggot or which is more likely to catch a South Park reference than yeah. If you mean worldwide and which has a stronger more loyal fanbase than CS takes it.
I guess. But, keep in mind that the Halo franchise has sold more than the CS franchise (in total).
In console FPS
What I've been trying to discuss...
People will get annoyed at the company milking franchise for all it's worth and would most likely be seen as an old man shittting out whatever it was that made it fun in the first place and has little to no resemblance to it's former self other than other than looking like a stale gray version rolling over in its grave.
Not really since people WANT Halo 4. There is a demand for the product. After that HUGE cliffhanger in Halo 3 who's not gonna wanna see what happens next? They have a lot to work with from that point. My theory is that they're working on it, right now or so that's what many people seem to think while bringing up good points. I personally believe Halo 4 could be insanely huge in all aspects of the word.
And everyone know that Counter Strike's prime was on the PC not Xbox, was this seriously a rebuttal? And I will say that CS is plenty popular offline and is played on tournaments and lag parties all the time, not to mention is the number one game for PC cafes, though no one goes to that shit anymore since online is the way to go chap.
Yeah, but I'm talking about Halo on Xbox only and when you did bring up the PC dicussion I admitted that CS is bigger than Halo on that platform. From that point, I brought up the franchise overall discussion since that's the only fair way to compare them.
Well I guess you could say that, and CS is plenty popular in the US it was after all the scape goat for the columbine massacre (or was that Doom) and the Virginia Tech Massacre. Like I said CS is more likely to have a niche fanbase and one that really takes time to get used to before you enjoy it, Halo's is pretty easy to just jump right in and rack up a few kills.
I know CS is very popular but I wouldn't compare it to the powerhouse that is Halo in the states.
Wouldn't make a difference, besides Halo 2's virtually dead now, whereas CS came out before Halo 1 and is still enormously popular, but I think Source is beating it. I do believe they're supposed to make another remake for CS sometime in the future so, watch out.
Halo 2 is not as active because Halo 3 came out (duh) which has Forge, theater, better matchmaking, more options, more active community, better graphics (....) AND because Xbox 360 came out. It's still holding up fairly well though. Halo 4 > CS remake
I honestly doubt that Halo would get anymore popular if was multi platform and it would feel like alienating the Xbox fanbase if they did that.
Of course. I'm very fucking glad Halo is only Xbox. If it was multi platform it would sell more and would undoubtedly pass COD in overall sales but all in all, I'm grateful Halo is exclusive to Xbox.
It also works both ways as it gives you a taste of their music without the full course, but I will say that Halo and Eminem are the same tier gameplay wise
If you execute your plan well, releasing a lot of music can help you but for the most part artists don't so... yeah. How are Halo & Eminem similar/same tier gameplay wise?

and I agree with your last sentence that's why I AM comparing them overall (as franchises) and why we should drop the PC discussion.
