We shouldn't fault the news posters too much, though, even if it is fucking annoying wathcing this section get cluttered with threads no one gives a shit about.

You rarely make posts of any note in here too, except for your pseudo bullshit rants which are predictable beyond belief, but you don't need a degree to see that this section is dead. One look at all the topics on page 1, the amount of replies the thread has, the last date they was posted in etc will tell you that.

And look even deeper and you will see the same people posting in the threads, and a lot of the replies are just smilies or people quoting each other, without adding any original content.
