How does that relate to anything I said?

If everything else is shit, it doesn't matter. People do not (as I'm aware anyway) each week decide to purchase an album, then go to the store and decide which album that will be. People buy what they want, which usually indicates the like what they are purchasing. Therefore, if people didn't like em (or the album/singles themselves from recovery), they wouldnt buy recovery.

Meaning, you buy what you like, and if you like/want recovery you will purchase it regardless of what else is out or how terrible it is (though that's not a fact, that opinion, but I understand why you said it cause I agree with you). Also, if music was so awful people didn't want to buy it, they would just listen on youtube or download it for free, I think sales themselves (especially today) truely shows a person who buys an album wants it.

With that said, I think I understand what your point was, and to some extent I agree. But I cannot say I agree on the stance his total sales and longevity is in any way effected by it since it would be such a small percentage.
