Writes of Passage's Puzzle of the Decade

Postby GenePeer » May 17th, '11, 19:35

Why was that Vast Aire verse left on? Is he like some underground rap ('cause I'd never heard of him before) lil wayne that was put on just for publicity? Are they best friends like Bizzare and D12? Was Sadistik too lazy to write another verse for it? Is there some underlying genius in those lyrics I'm not getting? Is he usually an R&B singer and this was his first rap verse?

I laughed the first time I heard it. I first thought it was just the beginning of the song, like a bridge or something. Then he changed his delivery/rhythm a bit and just as I thought the real verse was starting he says a line or two and his done. Like what the fuck was that? It was like I'd just been Rick Rolled!

He's in a group called Cannibal Ox with Vordul Mega.

Vordul is so much better than Vast that it's not even funny.

Yeah it honestly doesn't make any sense. Especially considering Sadistik killed the second verse.

Yeah that verse is horrible. He basically just kept it on because Vast Aire is in Caniball Ox, which is a pretty popular group (in underground circles), much more popular than Sadistik was at the time.

Basically he did it for the exposure and probably so he could say he worked with him. I would jump on the oppourtunity if I had the chance.

The matter is settled; It's so that he can say he murdered him on the track. But the guy could have at least tried to rewrite his verse after hearing Sadistik's! :facepalm
