Stewart won the debate with ease as expected but neither really sounded educated on the lyrics in question. He was totally right as there have been much more controversial figures in the White House, including Eazy-E who was invited by a Republican president. The whole cherry-picking one song or one line out of an entire catalog is stupidity. If Common is a vile rapper then Eminem must be the devil or the anti-christ, wouldn't be surprised if they believed that either. The fact is Common is one of the most conscious rappers to ever do it and the majority of his songs are uplifting. If you don't like the genre fine but I don't see how they can villify the president over inviting Common for poetry, it's absurd.

Common had every right to be there. Faux News is, has always been, and will always be, complete garbage. They never have good points on anything that's considered "controversial". Stewart easily won this "debate", even if the discussion went nowhere. O'Reilly is an asshole and can only see things from his point of view.
