Graduation was much better, I mean he grew as an mc in every way imaginable and cooks up a lyrical storm like no other, plus his delivery was clearer and he had the cocky persona down. It's not even close and he's much more and experimental, Graduation=Kanye TES. And we all know that TES is percieved as the best Eminem album in this forum, so Graduation>College Dropout.

He tries way too hard to be experimental and it just ends up fucking up his performance on the mic in Graduation, and makes his subpar mceeing skill much more obvious. He's always been average as an mc, to me, at some cases surprising me, but his beats on CD more than makeup for his mceeing skill or lack of. Besides he tries to reinvent a signature sound and break free of the cookie cutter soul production.

This one's a decent question, Freespeech is quite a character but so many of this posts are riddle with fallacies that you can't even begin to wonder where to start and point out his impotence, at the same token, Class likes to shout out fallacies a lot (and there's nothing wrong with that) while being unaware of fallacies he commits as well. They're both decent I guess, though there's not that many gifted debators in this site to begin with, for whatever it's worth their both far superior to MC in terms of debating.

Originality and substance where you can feel their personality emanating through the tracks. I like lyricists like Ghostface in SC for his unique style that he ran with and executed perfectly, the vivid images he conveys even when you don't know what the fuck he's saying, or his storytelling abilities.

Or lyricists like Dessa and POS, I guess.

Substance as in songs that have meaning and aren't just superficial hot 16s shrouded as a song, and storytelling I guess.

Oh and I guess I like hint of intellectual lyrics that touch the cerebral matter from time to time, no not pseduo intellectual tripe. I'm talking about detailed, thematic writing laced with imagery, and metaphors.

I like multies don't get me wrong, but they aren't my top priority and if a rapper incorporates them without forcing them, than cool, they get brownie points.

@MC No...

Why do I not see you bringing up Jay-Z as much anymore?

What does the E in Earl stand for?

Are you aware that you've introduced me to more music I like than anyone else on this site?

Should I be more aggressive?

I still like him, just I haven't been playing his shit a lot recently. My top 10 isn't set in stone and changes every few months, right now I'm just checking out Minneapolis Hip Hop mixed with West Coast Alternative, so of course I'd have POS/Dessa and Zumbi (Zion I), Blackalicious.

I'm sorta similar to you I guess that the only artists that would remain in my top 10 a while from now are Nas, Ghostface and Prodigy.

What does the E in Earl stand for?

Erotic
Are you aware that you've introduced me to more music I like than anyone else on this site?

No, I thought that would go to Block or hell Killahbee even, I never fancied myself as a knowledgable Hip Hop head who drops knowledge, besides our top 10 are barely similar, unless you have POS and Dessa in your top 10.

But if you really do like the artists that I like than thanks Zephos, not me, cause he's the one who introduced me to 90 percent of the artists I hold in high esteem.

Should I be more aggressive?

Do what you feel is right (lol), but don't try to change just to impress others, if you're going to take on the asshole route don't overdo it. It has to come naturally, so if you just start being obnoxious than it'll look superficial, but if you can pull it off than go for it.

I will say though, I do like it when you ether others (One Mic) or make the Embase type posts out of nowhere and it just hits us like a brick, it'll devalue it if you are an asshole just for the sake of being one.

Why are you answering the questions for dead prez when obviously your name is diction? And am I the only one to have a problem with that?

He gave me his password and entrusted me with his account, so I'm just doing my job. He told me on Facebook that TR was too time consuming and not worth it, he said it was fun though. I have it saved, but I might have deleted it somewhere.

If he gave you the password to your account why aren't you answering from his account but from some account with the username diction?
Are you trying to lie to me?

He gave me his account, but I changed the name. I didn't like to go under "dead prez", I much prefer diction. Besides I doubt he'll care what I do to his account anymore, I could trash it, and he wouldn't give a shit.

And no, I wouldn't lie to you, I think you are a funny guy that should post more often. I like you better than some regulars here, actually.
