At first: Eh, decent.
Now: I'm assuming tghe same, I haven't relistened. Kinda boring. I mean, it's good but there's tons of other music I prefer to listen to.

It's interesting that a few people seem to dislike this album, but love Recovery, given that as someone quite rightly said, this feels like Lupe's 'Recovery'.

I still feel in retrospective they can be viewed as such (And Menzo agrees with me :) ) but tbh Recovery as an album has more character to it. I'm speaking as an album, both of them have their own really interesting back-stories as to why/how they came into creation, but in Recovery it's displayed in a more positive manner.

And with that spoken, I don't love Recovery but I view it as a solid album that's a small notch above Lasers.

Satire speaking the truth. Only thing is, I actually do love Recovery and you don't. :unsure:

I think that Lasers although not as good as some of his other stuff was still better then Recovery technically and I did enjoy more songs on Lasers then on Recovery.

I think what u were saying is that Em seemed very confident on Recovery and assured of himself while Lupe seemed hesitant sometimes on Lasers like he didn't feel comfortable making it. Recovery is easier to listen to because of this.

I would give the album 7.5/10 right now
I usually give Recovery 6.5

Looking out of the corner of my eye your avatar almost looked like AbramIsaac's because of the seemingly identical color schemes and I was like :unsure:

and then I realized it was just you so never mind. Didn't you say you didn't know why people considered Lasers "good"? 7.5 is good, in fact, it's .5 points away from "really" good.

Yes, you should. Tbh, if anything gets more than a 5 from me it has to be doing something right now.

0 = Unlistenable

1 = Terrible

2 = Food & Liquor

3 = Bad

4 = The Cool

5 = Mediocre-Average

6 = Fair

7 = Good

8 = Very Good-Great

9 = Excellent

10 = Recovery

I'm gonna stop trolling for a second here.

This album was really good. The only flops on this album are I Don't Wanna Care Right Now and State Run Radio, the latter which doesn't really suck as bad as I Don't Wanna Care Right Now but the hook/production is absolute shit.

I really like Out Of My Head for some reason. I would rank it in the album's Top 5 :unsure:

The best song is either Beautiful Lasers, Never Forget You or Words I Never Said.

Overall, Lasers is a good 7.8/10.
