Listened once in full so far.
At points I dragged myself through it where it was a bit polarising, but other moments she shines.
The comparison I can make after hearing the entire album is probably Black Milk.
I really like it when she tries and expand her range, because it's clear when it comes to straight lyrics she's good. 'Peoples not places' was a good start, the subject matter is what she needs to try more. That is when she tries to connect with the audience more and show some emotional resonance. The beat on 'No easy answers' is dope as hell.
I really like her message and her ability to discuss issues facing us in a fierce manner. The difference between her and a Jean Grae (best female MC right now in my opinion) is that Jean's album is more cohesive.
Still, I'm glad I listened to it. She's good. Very good.
