Hey fellow Eminem fans, there are certain lyrics that have really made me want to sign up to this forum and make a thread about it to ask other people if i'm just being stupid or not.

In the song "Not Afraid" i believe eminem says "So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cadence" but i can no longer find these words anywhere using Google, only "i'm breaking out of this cage" which i believe is incorrect...

Listen to the lyrics carefully, i'm SURE he says "cadeeeeeeence"

For those that don't know, cadence, simply put, is the structure of words/lyrics/rhymes etc, and the way they flow, for instance, the flow of the words, phrases and verses Eminem uses.

there is no "ence" sound so its more then likely cage and plus cage fits better. a cadence has multiple meanings but i just dont see how it would fit. the most likely meaning if it was cadence would be how they use it in in the army about marching saying hes breaking out of the same "left right left" routine and changing things up..but im still hearing cage..

ITS CADENCE! listen closely. you can here him pronounce the 'd' clearly. now, as for the 'ence', you can here him blend it in with the following line. DEMONS! the 'ns' in demons flow perefectly with 'nce' in the word cadence. he says them at the same time. just listen.
