I'm not sure what track your talking about specifically but, yeah, when Ace came back in 2001 he was hugely influenced by Eminem's rhyme schemes, most notably on SSLP. I don't think there's a specific track you mean, but Ace was so influenced by Em when he came back that people started to think that it was Eminem who was influenced by Ace (in some weird time-warped society, I assume)

He used multies very occasionally on his first album then not at all on SH or SIC - only started to use them regularly in 2001-onwards, obviously influenced by Em.

If you watch this video and get to the bit where they talk about Hellbound, Ace knows Em's verse off by heart.

I have this on my ipod :worship:

But i know what you mean, I think you may be talking about this:

(Masta Ace - Don't Understand)
I don't do White music, I don't do Black music
I make rap music, for hip hop kids

(Eminem - Who Knew)
I don't do Black music, i don't do White music,
I make fight music, for high school kids

They also use some similar rhyme schemes and flows, but as Ace as been around longer people assumed that Em' has biten Ace, whereas it was the other way around (Masta Ace admits that he was influenced by Eminem)

However i don't take any of it away from Ace, A Long Hot Summer & Disposable Arts were brilliant albums! :flutter:
Fuck a sig, i go accapella.

The thing that bothers me when they call hopsin a cheap imitation of em, while Hopsin's style is actually a bit different to that of em, he just sounds similiar,he also has completley different subjects

I plan on downloading some of Ace's material, like this song :y:

I could see where you think the style is similar to SSLP Em but I personally can't think of a specific song that's exactly like that. And if you're gonna check out Ace, get Disposable Arts & A Long Hot Summer. Amazing albums.

Then listen to it NOW lol, you'll be an Ace fan after that album. Only thing I don't like about Ace is who he features on his album.

I remember listening to "Don't Understand" a while back and people were bashing Em for biting a classic rapper. Embarrassing!

Seriously? They should think it's great that a classic rapper paid homage to Em when the whole world still hated him lol.
