Not too impressed with Royce's verse, but overall, I love it. I do agree that it doesn't seem to fit with what we have from B&E so far, but they can do something different. Nothing wrong with that.

Now this track reflects on his success.. Pretty great song imo really really wish Royce would have went harder, this is the song that will get him exposure, nothing too memorable from him in this verse.

When Em makes a beat he envisions how he is supposed to ride the beat, and just executes it so much better than he does with other people's beats.

All in all, great track.

Overall I'm happy, may seem petty but I would have preferred Em's verse to be second.. I just think it would have worked out better that way. Otherwise I think the EP needs this track to actually make it stand out a bit... can see a video coming for sure

Guys, if all the songs on the EP are evil, crazy, battle or fun/funny tracks then it will be criticized for a lack of variety in content. This song was necessary for many different reasons. And please don't use the "In 1999 Em & Royce would have never done... etc. etc. etc. bla bla bla" excuse. They've grown as artists and people since then. Today's Bad Meets Evil isn't the same exact Bad Meets Evil in Scary Movie or in SSLP's Bad Meets Evil. They will not make a song that is gonna be very similar to those and I guarantee you that. The closest will be Welcome 2 Hell but the production, content, flows, attitudes, humor will be different but that's not a bad thing... at least not for me.

Because I accept today's Eminem and today's Royce (which isn't THAT different to old Royce) and I can enjoy the music knowing it'll probably not be up-to-par with the old tracks but then again the new tracks have more replay value for me. While some people look back to that original Bad Meets Evil song and immediately cross out the new songs, and don't tell me no one does that because that's a sack of shit.

With all this said, Lighters grew on me.

the way Em flows "i would never do nothing to let you cowards fuck my world up" sounds weird haha. the song is great though, i've listened a few times. should be pretty popular. and Royce actually has content on this, doesn't matter if he didn't go as hard as Em, it's still a good verse. I LIKE IT
