Good hip hop is the hardest music to make,i would show the person lose yourself and ask him if he can write that or talk to him about rhyming and flow and rhythm,i been there.

Arlight, while I hate people who trash talk Hip Hop and want to bash their face in, I also hate hypocritical doofuses who also ignorantly bash other genres for stupid reasons, because it doesn't fit their way of listening to music.

i.e. Not as lyrical, or doesn't rhyme as many syllables

Explain to them that it isn't easy to craft a verse with multis, internal rhyme, punchlines, flow, deep vocabulary, imagry and stick to a topic with a good delievery. I must agree though to somepoint why the average hiphop listener nowadays would think that, I mean, turn on the radio and try to find talent, it isn't easy. And it angers me because it gives the whole rap genre a bad name. I'm not a drake or lil wayne(post carter 2) fan at all, but I get excited when I hear them on the radio cuz I know that's the best I'm going to get on the radio and its crazy. 15 years ago they would never make it, now all u need is a beatwith bass that u can dance to and a catchy phrase that u say over and over for a chorus. Not to mentionn basic lyrics speaking about money, girls and alcohol.... so I somewhat agree. Good rap is the hardest music to make. But bad rap is probably the easiest

I go into a spazmatic state trying to think of how to counter-argue ignorant and close minded comments like that, then I remember ignorance is bliss and that people who hold that opinion are missing out on some of the most creative, immersive and captivating music of the last 30 years
