Word.
It's so weird, the titles are so weird.
I think this is the first time i have doubts about Nas dropping a good album :sweating:

I gotta admit I'm a little bit worried too.. :sweating:
Title sounds shitty.. although what he's saying about life being good and changing someone's mentality and trying to forget the dark side.. Might be good. Nas.. I'm begging you - don't fuck this up, please.

Seriously, if Nas drops a shitty album.. fuck 2012, this will be the end of MY world. I'll get a fucking depression.

Nasty is probably a reference to his original MC moniker.

But the album's name is "Life Is Good" and the first single's called "Nasty"
Nasty ain't Good at all, unless I wanna get laid in a bar or something, if not .. then it's basically like featuring Bruno Mars in a song by a duo called Bad Meets Evil.

I know but that's what he said about the album. That's what I thought about 'nasty' when I saw it too.. So this leaves me a little bit confused and worried again :'(

People have bad feelings over the album and single titles? Then everything is good. Well more so when compared to bad feelings when artists have actually dropped music and it sucks.

The title makes perfect sense, well at least to Nas fans. For the last 18 months, all we've heard about Nas is his divorce, money issues, tax problems and artists who aren't half as capable as he is comparing themselves to him. So Nas comes out and lets everybody know, despite all that, 'Life is good'. Not everyone is gonna be complaining and play the underdog their entire life.

Nasty is also obviously a reference to Nasty Nas.

I like the title, hopefully he is done preaching about slaves and fox news....that only worked once

He's only tried it once. Even then, that's only for an entire album concept. Nas has been talking about issues such as that for his entire career. And that was a great album. It was an album for his core fan base, and they all ate it up. I hope he continues "preaching" about slavery.

Sounds like this will be an uplifting, feel good album kinda like Distant Relatives, and for that alone I'm super excited.

Are people seriously doubting Nas?

Lets just have a look at his discography, shall we?

Illmatic
It Was Written
I Am... The Autobiography (The original double album he intended to release instead of I Am... & Nastradamus, but didn't 'cause of bootlegging)
Stillmatic
God's Son
Street's Disciple
Hip Hop Is Dead
Untitled

As you can see, there are no bad albums here. Matter of fact, there are no good albums here either.
Each one of those albums is at least GREAT.

Tell you what, if this turns out to be a bad album, I'll delete my account.

same question I wanted to ask

I used to believe that Eminem would never release a shitty album. Plus I've learnt my lesson and now I never expect greatness, it's way better to have low expectations and be postively surprised than expecting too much and ending up disappointed.

If this album turns out to be another classic by Nas (which, deep inside I hope, will), I'm gonna be happy as fuck.
