Whoa, ok... after 6 hours of listening at 2 in the morning... i feel an great stan feeling inside. Because of all the negativity on this forum and the prospect of "random tracks" was not expecting much. Welcome to hell, Living Proof are straight fire. Take From me should be the closest we've gotten to Eminem after the comeback. Deeply content with the output as a whole. :worship:

The Re-union is receiving lots of love. I ALMOST liked it but after repeated listens, the ending was such an anti-climax. :( I hated I'm on Everything and still do. Worst song by a mile.

I think if they ever make a debut LP for Bad Meets Evil, they'll have the guy. I was hoping for it too, lol.

Got chills from Em's verse on this song. Crazy.

I just woke up and my mind is so fucked right now. To much information to process.I can't believe how dope this album is.

Yeah, I woke up to the leak, too. I've had hours and hours to process it, but...well, when I first woke up and checked this place, the first thread I noticed was the whole 'will Em lose fans because of "a kiss?" and I was so confused. I thought maybe he'd been spotted making out with...I don't know, Britney Spears. Someone from left field. And then I noticed this thread, and downloaded the songs, and it all made sense. ;)

"I'm On Everything" is definitely my least favorite by a long shot - which is actually a relief, because I didn't like it from the moment it leaked, and I was hoping that none of the songs on the EP would outdo its shittiness. It's not even close to being on the same level of the other songs. "Lighters" is my third favorite, because I've always had a soft spot for the emotional, more "human" songs, then "Reunion", and my favorite is "Take From Me," hands down.

We all know Em will never have the magic he had back in the day due to many factors(hunger to prove himself etc) However I always expect to see one or two gems (GTC,De Ja Vu, My Mom,The writing on LTWYL)

Ok my thoughts,

The Production was exceptional, something I have been complaining as of late but it was great.

It seems Em's shouting is not annoying as fuck as it has been recently which was a huge plus, sadly on Take From Me I found his delivery bad :facepalm Especially when I loved the content..

Also feel that this EP highlighted the fact that Em has too many yes men/dick riders in his camp.

Anyway here are my ratings out of 10 of each track overall(Lyricallys,Replay Value,Production)
Welcome to Hell-8.5/10
Fast Lane-7/10
ReUnion-8.5/10
Above The Law-7/10
I'm On Everything-6.5/10
A Kiss-6/10
Lighters-6.5/10(Has a good moment in the rhyming and I liked it for what it is)
Take From Me-6.75/10
Loud Noises-5/10
Living Proof-6.5/10
Echo-8.5/10

Will probably change after a few weeks,

No one's going to read this, but whatever, I'ma review this. I've read through all the lyrics I could find, and heard each song about 3 times.

Welcome 2 Hell: Wow, what a way to open the EP. I LOVE the dark haunting beat, it's perfect for Bad Meets Evil! I didn't expect any tracks on the EP to reach this level, to my pleasant suprise a handful of tracks actually did. And the flow is perfect, not too fast to catch what he's saying, but still impressive. The little back and forth towards the end proves what an incredible chemistry these two bastards have, and that chemistry stays there for the rest of the CD. I don't like to put a number on tracks, but I'm going to anyways. 8/10 (And that's damn high, 8 is a close to a classic in my opinion. You just can't give any track on this EP a 10/10 considering songs like Sing for the Moment and Lose Yourself exists.)

Fast Lane: Catchy and awesome hook that reminds me of Nate Dogg, but that's really everything there is to this song. Except from the Ice-Ice Baby and Nicki lines, there's not much you'll remember from it. Don't get me wrong, I like it, it just doesn't stand out much. It's a solid filler-track though, and a good choice for a first single, I like how they saved the best for the real fans who will buy and truly listen through this EP. 6/10

The Reunion: Now this is what I want to hear from Em. The hook is a prefect example of why he should make more hooks by himself. And the slow relaxed flow is something I've been missing, I haven't really heard that since the MMLP days. The simple beat fits perfect too, the bass is amazing. Em's lines about Relapse and the accent is hilarious, so is Royce's swagger line, both of them made me chuckle. 9/10 Along with The Kiss, it's my favourite song of the album.

Above the Law: "This beef has left you praying, Allah a Ackbar!" That made me laugh so hard, might just be my weird sense of humor though, as no one else mentioned the line is the thread so far. Eminem is angry but it kind of fits, espeically along with Jai's voice. There were some good lines in here, and if Em toned it down just a little bit, it would be one of the best songs on this EP. I'm giving it an 7/10. Royce went in on this too, loved the Kanye lines.

I'm On Everything: At first listen I thought it sounded VERY average, a few listens later I thought it was good. After hearing the rest of the EP, it's kind of back to being average again. One of the weakest songs of the EP, but it still fits very good. Neither of them are really being evil here though. The fart noises doesn't bother me much tbh, I think he was just making fun of the Young Money puncline-style. He clearly over-does it on purpose. Still a pretty forgettable track that won't get many replays from me. 5/10

A Kiss: Oh damn, as I said earlier, this is one of my two favorites here. The beat is so dream-ish, kinda reminds me of the Nigtmare on Elm Street movies. I got chills when I first heard Em's voice on this too, this is the voice I want to hear him spitting in. Their chemistry is top-notch here, if they had smiliar voices, you probably couldn't tell who were spitting what. This song will get so many replays from me, I love it. The hook is the second best on the EP too, coming in right after The Reunion's. 9/10

Lighters: Why? This ain't Bad Meets Evil. It's an okey song by itself, but god damn, save it for Success is Certain. This has nothing to do on this EP. I get why it's there, and I know what it'll do to Royce's popularity. Still, they said this would be a raw project, this is that one fucker that keeps it from accomplishing that. I decided to keep and open mind about if on beforehand because it could've been something more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKUpHPYFAQQ. Which would fit in way better on the EP. 4/10 (It would be 6/10 by itself, but on the EP it can't be higher than 4/10)

Take From Me: Jai did a better job on Above the Law, but she works here too. I like the concept too, regarding the leaks, It could've been executed better though. I'm not feeling Em's flow here, especially when he stops the beat, I find that annoying. It works sometimes, especially in punchline-tracks, but certainly not here. And his last lines scares me :[ 6/10

Loud Noises: I for one love that SLAUGHTERHOUSE voice, it's simply epic. I love Em's scratching noises, reminds me of the SSLP era. But it's still a pretty average verse from him, still there's nothing about it that bothers me enough to dislike it. I must say I chuckled at his first lines too. Regarding the rest of them, god damn Croocked goes in on this, his rhyming is incredible. The rest of them did good too, and damn Joell sounds like Yela! 7/10 I don't think I'll give it alot of replays though.

I won't review Echo and Living Proof as I've already played the fuck out of those. I probably would've given Living Proof a 7/10 and Echo 9/10.

As a whole, I'll give this EP a 7/10. It showed me that Em still has it, and if he keeps making songs like The Kiss and The Reunion, I think he's fully capable of dropping another classic. Nothing that will top his old work, but it'll be right there underneath it. I like this more than Recovery, mostly because of the production. It definitly exceeded my expectations, and I'm even more excited to hear Em's future work now. I just hope he really takes his time on his next album.
