Although the term itself doesn't specify it, physician assisted suicide is for those with terminal illness only. The depressed ones are simply suicide.

The world is divided just like that, the US and the third world. No way in hell there are a shitload of countries way more civilized than you guys. It never ceases to amaze me how much sheer ignorance you can bring into this world. Actually stop and think for a minute, you're the only modern country who still faces the same problems as the third world, i.e. racism, religious power, fucking illiteracy.
