yeah, but it kinda pisses me off how they call him a thug and a murderer and whatnot.

i mean, no matter what happened, it's a shame that it had to result to death.

and i'm sorry they feel that proof is getting more attention than bender, but what did they expect?

These people have spoken silent truths. As harsh as they may seem, look at it from their prospective. Proof is getting glorified, while a man Proof shot at, who is now dead, has recieved a bad title for shooting a Proof over a pool game. As much as I hated to read this, truths have been told, lies have been concockted(sp), and webs of guilt trips and manipulation have been spread. Which trap will you fall into? It's not the words of other's agaisnt or for Proof, but the words that are spoken within your heart. Is he guilty or is he not? Is this whole incident being taken out of perspective? Should one fallen person be glorified over another? It's not just violence that has taken ahold of people, but the media is a murderous toul that is not being lashed out agaisnt in this time. Media has stretched certain details, they tell the people what they want to hear, not always the truth. They keep true words hidden, and manipulate the words spoken. So, media is also a muderous villian in this portrayal of Proof's death and the death of Keith Bender Jr., so why haven't harsh words and lashing out been taken at the media? Is it just because we're raised to trust most of the media or is it because we're terrified of what the truth may hold? I don't know who said it, but, "the truth hurts", either except the critism and harsh remarks, or brush them off and go on with the lies. It's up to us to stop this murderous criminal, but we're to busy lashing out agaisnt the person who shot Proof, not the "people" feeding us lies and exagerations. Keith Bender Jr. is a murderer, yes, but he is still human, may he rest in peace. Proof, was a murderer, yes, but he is still human, may he rest in peace. taylor, i see what you mean, but i'm not putting down keith bender at all. may he rest in peace, as well. anyone that does say negative things bout keith is just ignorant. like i said, death should never be a result. i don't care whose fault it was. it should have never ended up with two people dying.

i just don't see why poeple had to say those things, when, ya know... the man is dead. at least give him that much, and keep them to yourself.

But would you be thinking that, rather this way, if Proof was a nobody, an underground artist persay? If this was just another headline in the paper, so many people would read breeze by it and not look at it twice. But the media has to take things out of proportion, along with everybody else, and web the truths and lies and assume that the man who killed a "rap icon" deserves what he got. The media this event has recieved is unjust, and just plain annoying now. Both men are buried, let them rest in peace. The past is the past, both men died over something so stupid, but, they're dead. We can't change it. Why just say that Proof is a murderer? Why just say that Bender is a murderer? You can't point fingers, not at this, both men are dead. Don't damage their name, you can't punish them for something they can't, let's say, serve time for. This isn't just about what you posted Tru, but you got me fired up yet again, sorry. But I hope everyone sees my words and takes them in, even if you don't like them, see both perspectives, not just one side.

however... as much as the media may be a pain in the ass and paparazzi and all that shit... it's life. i've learned to deal with it, and anyone who gets into this entertainment business should too.

i mean, the media is a doube edged sword. sometimes, it's good, and sometimes it's bad.

i can't feel sorry for every single celebrity out there on the tabloids, especially if they constantly do stuff to get them in there.

the point is... proof is famous, whether you wanna believe it or not. he was a celebrity, especially in detroit. he was a man of the people. he was there with the citizens of detroit. i think that's why the press there feel the need to cover so much on his death. it's a big deal to them.

I was getting fired up, just because, I don't know why Anyways, I don't care how much a celebrity or renowned man Proof was, one person shouldn't be glorified over another, one person shouldn't be downgraded over another. The media around there and everywhere at that, are all making Proof out to be a hero, a fallen soldier who was done wrong. They don't mention that Bender, also a fallen soldier, was done wrong. You're right, no one deserves there life to be taken away like that, unless they are put on death row in my opinion, anyways, two men died. Both murdered by the other, making them both murderers, so why is Proof being made to look like a victim, while Bender is made a murderer? When in truth, they're both victims, and they are both murderers? This is a rare situation, but facts are left unsaid. They shouldn't be claiming who done this, who done that, when all of the information isn't present. It's over, give the men they're rest. They've suffered, they've died, their lives were taken from them, both will be missed, one more than the other, but it's over. They've had people say their final respects, they've had their loved ones say goodbye, they've been buried underneath their tombstones. Let them now go in peace. Just let the right people do their job, figure out everything, and not let this be another cold case. Let the truth be shown, then let it rest at that. Evidence speaks louder than words. We all know when everything is all said and done, people will retaliate and not believe what the evidence is showing. You know? Now, just let the men go in peace. They're even with the house, may they both be in heaven, no matter what unjustices they've committed. May God have mercy on thier souls, and my they forever be happy and remembered and respected; because they will never be forgotten.
