Anyone had chills when Claret Jai sings her chorus in take from me, and then the beats stops and Eminem goes in?

Yeah it's a great hook too. Well written and fits well.

And the... "AMBUSH / OUTLANDISH - THESE WORDS ARE WEAPONS THAT I BRANDISH" part, just that whole outburst until the end of the verse is like pure cocaine to me.

I think it's becoming my favorite song step by step. The part you quoted is my favorite and yeah, the way he raps from that moment to the end of this verse is just .. He takes screaming to another level, and it works. I love when he begins with a normal voice and then "amplify" his voice and start screaming.

Ps: Lady Gaga is really ugly now.

i dont like how this gives jay and kanye a chance to scratch songs and try to step their game up on their collabo.. though it still wont touch this
I'm still hungry as fuck, but can't even say bon appetit
Cause I don't know what to eat, fucking microphone or the beat

Fast Lane > H.A.M

Hope they scratched it otherwise it's going to be shitty with songs like that.

Actually having just re-listened again and again on that part, I'm pretty positive he doesn't say taxi. It just sounds like it because he says...

"If I jump out a bush (or, and push), then sneak attack'S, the only way I'll say I ambush / am Bush"

It's the S after attack which sounds like tax(i) but there's an apostrophe there. That's what I think anyway. As makes perfect sense that way and a taxi isn't needed.

Yeah it's Brick (Steve Carell) from Anchorman. Is a audio clip from that.

^ Yeah it is a bit wasted in that I think that...

Well, I love the verses too much to say I wish they were different.

But, they could of added a third verse, with them going back and forth about their bad and evil ways and the menace they are wreaking on society etc. and fulfilled the title.

That chorus sounds like the verses are just gonna push the boundaries as far as possible. I'm thinking something like Criminal.

The bad guy that makes fun of people that die, as long as it ain't happen to him

stab you in the head whether you're a fag or lez

Or even like The Re-Up where Em tells you to kiss his black ass.

Then the verses don't really talk about that kinda thing. Like I said though, I still love it. It's a very strong and powerful song.

Are you saying you thought Criminal was a wasted concept?

I'm on everything would have been really dope if it had structure, if they got mike epps in the both instead of the crap sampling and the rediculous barf, fart, and "classic" part.

Didn't like loud noises, so far every sh track has disappointed me.

Lighters had no business on this ep.

Other than that it was a pretty dope cd especially compared to what's out today. Hope they make a full lp.

Great song, great beat, and both of them bring awesome deliveries, but I agree that the concept, itself, was kind of wasted.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

you're right, there's no taxi...it's really gonna take many listens cux Em goes so damn fast in spots and isn't as clear as say Twista or Tech N9ne when he double times

I was a bit harsh on Welcome 2 Hell first time round. Rhyming is great and his flow is more 'dynamic' than the generic crap he's been coming out with of late.

Best to worst:

1. The Reunion
2. Welcom 2 Hell
3. A Kiss
4. Above The Law
= Take From Me
6. Fast Lane
= I'm On Everything
= Loud Noises
9. Lighters

It's his delivery and flows that let the EP down most. Just listen to his flows, rhythm/rhymes on Relapse then on this - less generic and robust. This EP has moments that make me thing he's turning things around (parts of Reunion, especially - it's actually creative). But it's still not as focused, and he needs to chill out on the rehashing of ideas (yeah, we get it Em, you hate women)

The standout tracks on this EP are going to age even better than the best Recovery stuff. Some really top-shelf stuff here, despite a disappointment or too especially later on in the EP. Take From Me still dissapoints me especially after all the hype it got. Fuck I'm on erythang and loud noises too. That said, I'm ecstatic that I have had the privilege to listen to Welcome 2 Hell, Reunion and Above The Law at this stage of Em's career. Another thing, he has to retain this level of production:first-class cinematic, eerie shit from now on, it makes such a difference.

Imagine an entirely produced album by either Havoc, Porter or Em himself.

Would be so dope. :worship:

Mr.Porter really surprised me :worship: Talk about earning your paycheck.
